22 Staterooms, 3 Decks, 6 Weeks

. . .

Another project successfully delivered by Zenko International in the first half of the year.

During a major dry-dock refit, our team converted existing public areas into 22 new staterooms across three decks, completing the work in approximately six weeks, with around 95 workers involved at peak.

The new accommodation included:

  • Deck 10: 4 interior cabins
  • Deck 11: 8 suites
  • Deck 12: 10 suites

Zenko International was responsible for interior outfitting, steel works and technical installations. The scope included the removal of existing bulkheads and fabrication and welding of new ones, as well as Grey Water, Black Water and Fresh Water piping, sanitary and plumbing works, sprinkler installations and coordination across all trades involved.

Working across three decks at the same time and within a six-week schedule required careful planning, close manpower coordination and precise material logistics. With multiple teams working simultaneously, close cooperation between everyone involved was essential to keep the project moving according to plan.

We are proud of the Zenko team and the work delivered on this project – bringing together interior outfitting, technical works and steel works within a demanding refit schedule.
