Zenko International took part in SMM 2026 in Hamburg, one of the world’s leading international exhibitions for the maritime industry.
With our own exhibition stand, the Zenko team had the opportunity to present the company’s capabilities and projects, while meeting with long-term clients and partners, future partners, suppliers, colleagues and industry professionals from across the maritime sector.
The exhibition was marked by several intensive days of meetings, discussions and new connections. For Zenko International, SMM remains an important platform for strengthening existing relationships, developing new partnerships, and gaining a closer understanding of the latest developments across shipbuilding and marine industries.
Our participation at SMM 2026 was supported through an EU co-funding project (No. 02-121-K-0245) Zenko Lithuania is receiving to increase its competitiveness and international visibility, reflecting the importance of international development and strengthening the competitiveness of European companies in global markets.
The exhibition took place at a time of continued growth in the global cruise market. According to the latest CLIA industry outlook, 37.2 million passengers cruised in 2025, with the market forecast to reach 42.1 million by 2029. The cruise fleet is also continuing to expand, with a significant number of new vessels currently in the orderbook and deliveries extending through 2037.
The figures confirm that the maritime and cruise sectors are entering a period of continued investment and development.
For Zenko International SMM Hamburg 2026 was an important opportunity to be a part of these discussions — and to look ahead to the projects and partnerships that will shape the industry in the years to come.
